This traditional road connects the village of La Quinta, one of the oldest in the region, with the area of Ifonche and it forms part of the Camino Real that linked the higher regions of the middle altitudes of Guía de Isora, Adeje, Arona and Vilaflor. One of the highlights of the route is undoubtedly to enter an environment that preserves excellent ethnographic, natural and scenic heritage. Not without reason it crosses three Nature Reserves. Ascending along a trail that skirts the ravine of Aponte, in direction north-northeast, we reach the junction that takes us into the Nature Park - Corona Forestal and that leads us to El Aserradero, now in ruins. South of El Aserradero, we find the crossroad formed by the path of Teresme and the one of Ifonche, which takes us to the municipal centre of Adeje. From this point, eastwards, the route runs through a large section of pine forest. Having overcome the headwaters of the Barranco del Infierno, we enter the Protected Landscape of Ifonche, which combines the pine forest with the traditional agricultural landscape with jable covered cultivation terraces of the higher regions of the middle altitudes of the region of Chasna. Having reached the end of our tour, a tarmac path leads us to the core of Ifonche. Duration : 2h 30min. Highest Slope: 523m. Lowest Slope: 627m. Length: 6,4Km.Level of difficulty: low.
