Enjoy heated water in winter in Siam Park

12 Dec 2008
Its waters are heated to 24 degrees

In the Canary Islands it is possible to enjoy the sun all year round, even in winter. During this season the temperature of the water drops by a few degrees, putting off people who tend to feel the cold. It is for this reason that Loro Parque Group has implemented a water heating system in Siam Park. At a temperature of 24 degrees Celsius, visitors can enjoy recently opened attractions without worrying about the cold, enjoying the sun on the white sand beach and relaxing over a tasty lunch with views of the Wave Palace. The water is heated by the only natural gas plant on the island, which keeps it at a pleasant temperature whilst helping to care for and protect the environmental balance, which is one of the main goals of the company.

Siam Park strives for the comfort of all the family with its exclusive adventure attractions. Its white sand beach, with exotic views of the Wave Palace and the island of La Gomera, and the relaxing crystal clear waters of the Río Lento river, are also kept at the warm, pleasant temperature of 24 degrees, whilst all the water in the park is renewed several times a day in order to guarantee the hygiene and care of bathers, who will feel like fish in water. Once out of the water, treat yourself to a relaxing massage in the expert hands of the masseurs of Siam Park (on the floating market).
