The National park of the Teide makes easier the acquisition of the permission to access up to the top through a website.

From  August, people interested in obtaining the permission of access to the Mount Teide will not have to move up to the offices of the National park in Santa Cruz de Tenerife anymore, as it has become a common situation. Now it is possible to request the permit from any corner of the planet  on the following website www.reservasparquesnacionales.es

This service make easier the obtaining of the authorization free of charge through the Online Central Booking of the Autonomous Organism of National Parks.

The access to the peak is controlled to avoid massive visits, now that the crater of the Teide is an area of high ecological and geologic sensibility. For this reason, the protection norms authorize a maximum of 200 persons per day.

 

The project fitted out the network of town’s middle slope (medianías) paths

Adeje Town Council very successfully completed the project called “Limpieza y mejora de los senderos de las medianías” (Cleaning and improvements to the middle slope paths) which consisted of fitting out and adapting the network of paths located in the middle slops of the Adeje municipal area.

In the opinion of the councillor responsible “we are very satisfied with the recovery of the middle slope paths, because by improving our old roads we make substantial progress both in conserving and preserving our rural setting, which is of great historical important in the town of Adeje”.
