Quesillo Canario

  • 6 spoons of sugar dessert

  • 200 ml of milk

  • 1 gr. of ground cinnamon

  • 6 medium eggs medianos

  • lemon zest

  • 370 gr of condensed milk (1 small pot)

  • 500 ml of liquid cream (milk cream)

Preparation: First of all, pour the caramel (homemade or purchased) into the mold and preheat the oven to 170º. Next mix the eggs with the sugar, add the lemon zest, cinnamon, milk, cream and condensed milk. This mixture is poured into the mold, already bathed in caramel and put in the oven bain-marie for 45-60 minutes. Once it is done, let it cool and serve cold accompanied by a splash of honey, cream or a few leaves of mint.
