Adeje is the perfect place to practice freediving. The climate, the temperature and the currents make it the perfect place to practice different types of freediving throughout the year, although winter is the season preferred by professionals, as the water temperature is constant and thermoclines are not produced.
The sea varies between 19ºC in winter and 26º summer, and between 0 to 50 metres in depth there is only a one degree temperature variation. Moreover, visibility is from 20 to 25 metres.
The prestigious Academy West Europe Center by Umberto Pelizzari is the perfect place to get started, to submerge yourself in the aquatic environment, or to continue perfecting one of the many styles of freediving.
